New zealand McEntee Hire Beach volley National Tour 2009 - Wellington - A competitive stop

2ème étape du New Zealand McEntee Hire Beach Volley Tour 2009, Wellington va marquer l'entrée des équipes étrangères dans le circuit.

Cette étape servira donc de test pour les équipes néo zélandaises qui ont pour ambition de grimper dans l'échelle mondiale et d'êtres présents aux JO à Londres en 2012.

Dans le tournoi femmes, Susan Blundell-Anna Scarlett, vainqueurs de la première étape le week-end dernier, joueront gros cette fois-ci du fait de la présence des allemandes et 16ème mondiales (résultats individuels cumulés) Okka Rau-Helke Classen.

Il faudra aussi compter sur les brésiliennes  Nina Zgoda-Fernanda Costa, les anglaises Rachel Turner-Helen Brown, les américaines de l'AVP Paige Davis-Jenn Synder et aux néo zélandaises Hayley Griffiths-Hannah Croad  pour jouer les troubles fêtes.

Une étape qui sera donc passionnante d'autant que côté hommes les N°1 Neo Zélandais Kirk Pitman-Jason Lochhead vont faire leur entrée dans le circuit national et pourront dès cette première participation se frotter aux expérimentés américains Matt Prosser-Dane Jensen (parmi les 30 meilleurs joueurs de l'AVP en 2008), aux suisses Hannes Wyder-Rafael Bissig, aux néerlandais Timko Lokerse-Bart Bolsterlee et aux allemands Raimund Wenning-Stefan Schmeckenbecker.

Les frères Ces quand à eux seront présents mais ne participeront pas à cette étape car ils reprennent leur cycle d'entraînement et profiteront de la présence de tous ces joueurs pour cela. Ils seront présents sur les autres étapes, notamment l'étape finale d'Auckland.

 2nd stop of the New Zealand McEntee Hire Beach Volleyball Tour 2009, Wellington will mark the entry of foreign teams in the circuit. 

This step will therefore test for New Zealand teams that have the ambition to climb the world beach volleyball ranking and be present at the Olympic Games in London 2012.

In the women's tournament, Susan Blundell-Anna Scarlett, winners of the first stop last weekend, will play big this time because of the presence of the German world ranked 16th (individual ranking cumulate)Okka Rau-Helke Classen.

It will also count on the Brazilian Nina Zgoda-Fernanda Costa, the English Rachel Turner-Helen Brown, the U.S. AVP Paige Davis-Jenn Synder and New Zealand Hayley Griffiths-Hannah Croad to play 100% to win the tournament.

A stop that will be exciting especially as the men No. 1 New Zealanders Kirk Pitman-Jason Lochhead will make their entry into the national Tour and will participate in the first rub the experienced American Matt Prosser-Dane Jensen (among 30 best players of the AVP in 2008), the Swiss Hannes Wyder-Rafael Bissig, the Dutch Timko Lokerse-Bart Bolsterlee and German Raimund Wenning-Stefan Schmeckenbecker.

The Ces brothers when they will attend but not participate at this stop as they resumed their training cycle and benefit from the presence of all these players for this. They will be present on other stops, including the final in Auckland
