New zealand McEntee Hire Beach volley National Tour 2009 - European Teams (Ces-Ces & Rau-Claasen) won the NZ Open Titles in Auckland

Les équipes "all blacks" de beach volleyball n'ont finalement pas réussi a remporté le National Open à Auckland.

Lors de ce tournoi, il a fallu qu'elles prennent le dessus sur les équipes étrangères présentes et notamment les équipes européennes. Il faut dire que Français, Allemands, Néerlandais et Américains, Brésiliens avaient décidés de ne pas jouer les figurants.

Dans le tournoi femmes, Susan Blundell & Anna Scarlett ont vu leur rêve, de devenir la première équipe feminine neo zelandaise à remporter le National Open, stoppé par les jeunes brésiliennes Nina Zgoda & Fernanda Costa en demi finales.

En effet les brésiliennes ont joué à 100% et même si Nina Zgoda a eu du mal a passer le filet dans le 3ème set, sa partenaire, Fernanda Costa, a fait un excellent match en défense réussissant à ratisser toutes les balles. Pourtant Blundell-Scarlett ont réussi un super second set avec une grande présence au filet à l'attaque et au block.

C'est finalement sur une attaque dehors d'Anna Scarlett que les brésiliennes l'emportent par 2-1 (21-18 13-21 18-16).

Dans la finale 100% équipes étrangères ce sont les allemandes Rau-Claasen qui dominèrent les brésiliennes 2-0 (21-14 21-13) sans jamais être inquiétées. L'expérience a parlé...

Chez les hommes, les frères Ces ont réussi un tournoi parfait et enlève la victoire aux N°1 neo zélandais Kirk Pitman-Jason Lochhead qui espéraient emporter leur 3ème National open de suite.

Andy & Kevin Ces ont ainsi confirmé leur bonne fin de saison 2008 avec un très bon match en demi finale et en finale. Mention spéciale à Andy Ces qui a été très remarquée au filet.

On this tournament, they needed to take the top on the foreign teams present and in particular the European teams. It should be said that French, Germans, Dutchs, Americans and Brasilians had decided not to play the observers.

In the women tournament, Susan Blundell & Anna Scarlett saw their dream, to become the first new zealand women team to win the National Open, stopped by the Brazilian young team Nina Zgoda & Fernanda Costa in semi finals.

Indeed the Brazilian ones played 100% and even if Nina Zgoda had evil has to pass the net in the 3rd set, its partner, Fernanda Costa, made an excellent match in defense succeeding in raking all the balls. However Blundell-Scarlett made a success of a super second set with a great presence at the net with spikes and block.

It's finally on an outside spike of Anna Scarlett that Brazilian wony by 2-1 (21-18 13-21 18-16). In the 100% foreign teams final, it's the germans Rau-Claasen who dominated Brazilian the 2-0 (21-14 21-13) without never being worried. Experiment spoke…

At the men, the Ces brothers made a success of a perfect tournament and removes the victory at N°1 new zealand team Kirk Pitman-Jason Lochhead which hoped to carry to them 3rd consecutive National Open.

Andy & Kevin Ces confirmed their good end of season 2008 with a very good match in semi finale and final. Special mention to Andy Ces which was very efficient at the net.
