Rome, la capitale éternelle, s'apprête à accueillir pour la première fois la prochaine étape du Swatch FIVB World Tour 2009 de Beach Volleyball.

Ce sont les Hommes uniquement qui auront la chance de jouer dans le cadre exceptionnel du Foro Italico, le plus grand complexe sportif d'Italie.

29 pays seront présents pour disputer cette étape avec un duel Bresil-Allemagne qui s'annonce particulièrement intéressant à suivre. A suivre particulièrement les équipes Harley-Alison, Ricardo-Emanuel, Marcio-Fabio, Brink-Reckermann, Klemperer-Goreng et Dieckmann-Matysik.

Les italiens Lione-Tomatis, Varnier-Nicolai et les frères Ingrosso feront tout quand à eux pour jouer les troubles fêtes dans leur pays.
