A noter particulièrement les italiennes Menegatti - Cicolari, les françaises Barrera - Longuet, les suisses Kuhn - Zumkher et les suédoises Lundqvist-Ljungquist qui ont joué les troubles fêtes jusqu'au bout.

Chez les américaines Angie Akers et Tyra Turner après un très bon match (perdu) contre April Ross - Jennifer Kessy avec un 2ème set à 30-28 ont fait un sans faute dans le 2ème tableau battant facilement les suisses.

Par contre Ross - Kessy ont totalement râté leur match face à une paire brésilienne, Talita & Maria Antonelli qui a maîtrisé le match du début à la fin.

Mais s'il y a un instant magique à retenir cela aura été le fantastique match entre Ana Paula - Shelda et Marleen Van Iersel - Sanne Keizer. Un match où à chaque action le spectacle était présent des 2 côtés et où on aura remarqué une Shelda souriante et heureuse d'être sur le terrain, une Ana Paula détendue par rapport à l'enjeu du match.
