Monte Carlo Beach Volley - International exhibition - Italian Menegatti & Cicolari in great shape
Source Video : i-volley
Monte Carlo Beach Volley which took place the 16 and April 17, 2010 made it possible to the Monegasques to see games of a very good level.
Indeed the presence of the Italian Champions (Cicolari - Menegatti), of the European Champions (Minusa - Jursone), of the 2009 winners (Sarpaux - Hamzoui) allowed d' to have raised matches.
The tournament was also the occasion to analyze the teams then they are in phase of preparation and/or constitution.
For example for the sisters Bratuhhina (who belong to the TEAM Estonian Sport' S Ambassadors), it is their first great international tournament together, before Natalja (vice university world champion) and Polina (university world champion) did not play together. Good start since it is the only team which took 1 set to the Italian winners of the tournament.
Good start also for Italian which shows their desire of podium and to appear among the world elite.
It should especially be noted that this team still has a margin of progression with Marta Menegatti which has only 19 years old and Greta Cicolari which still has a few years in front of it with its 27 years.
The French team Eva Hamzoui - Virginia Sarpaux, when with it, showed its experiment, especially in semi final against the European champions the Latvians Inguna Minusa and Inese Jursone.
Monte Carlo Beach Volley 2010 thus held all its promises, one awaits impatiently the 2011 edition.
