Men and Women Brasilia podium 2010

Le 1er événement du Swatch FIVB World Tour 2010 s'est fini aujourd'hui avec une domination des Tops nations du Beach Volleyball mondial, le Brésil et les Etats-Unis.

Dans le tournoi femmes nous trouverons 2 équipes brésiliennes sur le podium: Juliana - Larissa qui remportent l'or et Maria Clara - Carolina Salgado qui gagne le bronze.

Cependant une équipe européenne, Sara Goller et Laura Ludwig, a réussi à monter également sur la 2ème marche du podium. L'équipe allemande a fait un excellent tournoi et se place toujours comme une des équipes les plus dangereuses du circuit mondial.

A noter que nous trouvons sur les 6 meilleures équipes femmes à Brasilia, 2 équipes brésiliennes, 2 équipes des USA et 2 équipes européennes.

Le tournoi hommes a été dominé quand à lui par le Brésil avec 3 équipes en demi finales même si c'est l'équipe US Phil Dalhausser et Todd Rogers qui ont gagné l'or. Les médaillés d'or olympique ont joué la finale avec une facilité déconcertante et si nous ne savions pas qu'en face d'eux il y avait Alison - Emanuel, nous penserions qu'ils ont joué contre une petite équipe.

Phil Dalhausser a vraiment été spectaculaire au block et à l'attaque (notamment avec une attaque sensationnelle sur la ligne au 2ème set) alors même que devant lui c'était Alison et ses 2m03.

Lors du match pour la 3ème place, Thiago et Pedro Cunha ont manqué l'occasion d'être sur leur premier podium FIVB ensemble. Ils ont perdu contre l'équipe étonnante Benjamin - Bruno, avec Benjamin qui a retrouvé une deuxième jeunesse.

Le prochain événement femmes et hommes aura lieu à Shangai à partir du 3 mai jusqu'au 9 mai.

The 1st Swatch FIVB World Tour event finished today with a domination of the Top Beach Volleyball countries, Brazil and USA.

In the women tournament we will find 2 brazilian teams on the podium: Juliana - Larissa winning the gold and Maria Clara - Carolina Salgado with the bronze.

However a European team, Sara Goller and Laura Ludwig, succeeded in also going up on the podium by winning the silver medal. The german team made an excellent tournament and always places themselves like one of the most dangerous teams of the world circuit.

Note we find on the 6 best women teams in Brasilia, 2 brazilian teams, 2 US teams and 2 european teams.

The Men tournament was dominate by Brazil with 3 teams on semi finals even if is the US team Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers who won the gold. The Olympic Gold medallists team play the final with with an disconcerting ease and if we didn't knew that in front of them it was Alison - Emanuel, we will think they have played against an easy team.

Phil Dalhausser was really spectacular at block and spike (great vegas line at the 2nd set) even in front of him it was a 2m03 player Alison.

For the 3rd Place game, Thiago and Pedro Cunha missed the opportunity to be on their first FIVB podium together. They lost against the amazing team Benjamin - Bruno , with a Benjamin who found a second youth.

Next Women and Men event will be in Shangai from May 3rd until May 9th.
