Swatch FIVB World Tour 2009 - Hyundai Barcelona Open - Barcelona wants the Beach Volleyball event every year

Last year Barcelona welcomes his first World Tour event in a great venue - The "Font magica de Montjuic" - with a big success. So the "Ajuntament de Barcelona" decided to renew the experience but just with one gender a year and in 2009 it's the women tournament.

The event takes place from the 8 to the 13 september and 48 teams.

The first qualification game start at 10:00 on the center court between 2 spanish teams Fernadez - Pol Borras vs Martinez - Sunol.
