Another Beach Volleyball great day in Brasilia. Lot of spectacular games and surprising results.

In the Women tournament the best performance game from Erika and Emilia Nystrom (FIN) who are allready sure to be ranked at the 7th place before their game today against chinese team Xue - Zhang Xi. A really great performance for the Finnish sisters who won 3 hard games.

The other performance came from the US team Hanson - Rutledge who came from the qualification and lost only in the 4th round of the main draw against Kessy - Ross.

Great performance too also for German team Laura Ludwig and Sara Goller who beat the World N°1 team from Brazil Juliana - Larissa 2 - 0 (21-18 26-24).

In the men tournament brazilian teams dominate with 4 teams qualified for the 3rd round, Emanuel - Alison, Ricardo - Pedro, Thiago - Cunha and Benjamin - Bruno. Note that another brazilian team is still in competition : Harley - Fabio. they will play in the contender's bracket.
Polish team Fijalek - Prudel, Spaniards Herrera - Mesa and Germans World Champions Brink - Reckermann will represent in the 3rd round Europe, showing that the european teams are on the top.
